Brother Jim became Pastor of Children at Wall Highway in 2009 and has served as Pastor of Education and Administration since 2023. Before coming to Wall Highway, Jim served in a Baptist Association as the Church and Community Ministries Director. He has also served as a youth minister, teacher, and chaplain at a private Christian school. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Troy University of Dothan.
Jim has experienced a lifetime of ministry beginning from childhood with his father as a Senior Pastor and mother as a pianist. Jim gained valuable knowledge within the church to use throughout his life.
Jim and his wife, Lisa have been married for 34 years. In their spare time, they enjoy going on day trips, shopping for antiques and vintage finds, biking, running, and visiting their adult son Seth.
Over the years, Jim has used his administrative skills, forward and creative-thinking mindset to develop, create, and write new and innovative curricula to bring children to Christ and to equip them to be spiritual leaders in the Wall Highway Kid’s Ministry and beyond!
