We are a Student Family who is simply trying to become more like Christ together as brothers and sisters in Christ.

Some of the ways we hope to accomplish this are by:

Being Gospel-centered in all that we do. We as a Student Family will focus more heavily on how the Gospel transforms all of who we are than being a cool event that kids just come to hang out. This also means that we are more relationship driven than program driven with an intentional effort made at developing deep, lasting relationships with each student among each other as well as with the adult leaders in our student ministry. (1 Corinthians 15:3)

Each student is encouraged to have a mentor relationship with one of our adult leaders.  Discipleship starts first and foremost in the home, and we want to do everything we can to support that and partner alongside each family to make that happen. But we also believe the Bible teaches a principle of the older generation pouring into the younger generation, and so we want each student to have an older, godly man/woman who is actively, intentionally mentoring them as they pursue Christ together! (Deuteronomy 6:6-7, Hebrews 13:7)

One goal we have for our students that helps move us in this direction is to have 30% of our students actively leading others to Christ and discipling them to lead others to Christ as well. (2 Timothy 2:2)

Our Student Ministry is led by our Student Pastor Caleb Hecox, along with his wife Summer, and is assisted by a large number of godly men and women who help serve our students each and every week. Marvin Hill, along with his wife Lorena, help direct the Middle School events and activities that take place apart from the High School activities on occasion. Please feel free to reach out to our Student Pastor with any questions or concerns.
