Pastor Allen became the senior pastor of Wall Highway Baptist Church on September 2, 2018. Allen has previously served as children’s minister, student minister, and senior pastor in churches in Alabama and Mississippi.
He and his wife Mandy were married on August 3, 2002. They have four children – Gracie, Timmy, Annie, and Eli. In his spare time, Allen enjoys spending time with his family, reading biographies and history related books, and tweaking his home theater system. Allen believes his greatest responsibility in ministry is to his family. He desires to love his family and show them how to love and follow Jesus.
Allen also has an intense desire to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. In his preaching, Allen seeks to communicate the truth and principles found in God’s Word and help people apply them to their lives. He also has a desire to minister to the body of Christ, see people come to know Christ, discover God’s plan for their lives, and allow God to fulfill that plan through their lives.
