Plan of Salavation

1. Realize how God sees you.

For all [everyone of us] have sinned and come short of the glory of God.Romans 3:23

We need to realize our lives are not in accordance with God’s will for us. Can you admit you are a sinner?

2. Realize what sin has done to you.

For the wages [what we will receive] of sin is death.Romans 6:23

This death is to be separated from God for eternity. Forever. That is what sin has done to you and I. But the rest of Romans 6:23 states

[…]but the gift of God is everlasting life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

God offers us life in Heaven with Him, and as a gift it must be received personally and it is only available through Jesus Christ, God’s son.

3. Realize God Loves You.

But God commendeth [showed] His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.Romans 5:8

God showed His love in that we didn’t have to clean up our lives to be loved, He already loved us (and still does) but he does not like our sin. He offers us freedom from our sin by having Jesus Christ, his Son die to pay the wage in Step 2 above – death. Jesus had to die to pay off our sin debt. The Bible had the Jews in early times offer up a pardon in the form of an animal sacrifice; the animal’s blood would pardon the sin of the year. But God was using this as an example that in having his son, Jesus be the sacrificial lamb, he would die to pay the sin of mankind, once and for all. And like the animal sacrifice was believed in to pardon, mankind must come to the point of accepting the final pardon, the only acceptable pardon – believing Jesus died on the cross to pay for your and my sin.

Can you believe that God loves you? Can you accept that Jesus became the sacrifice that God directed and that God wants you to come to Heaven to be with Him for eternity?

For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him, shall not perish, but have everlasting life.John 3:16

God loves us, and the only way to cover our sin was Jesus to die in our place, to pay the wage, and to give us the gift of God – that of everlasting life with God. Can you get there any other way?

Jesus said, I am the way, the truth and the life, no man cometh unto the father, but by me.John 14:6

Jesus said, only by accepting my death for your sin, will you be able to go to the father in Heaven. Jesus paid it all. He said as he died on the cross, “it is finished”. No more requirements, but to accept the gift personally – his life for your sin. We can’t be good enough, pay enough, and do good works enough. Jesus did it all; we just have to accept it in faith.

Are you willing now to accept that Jesus died for you? Do you want to turn from your life and how you are living, to a life that is pleasing and rewarding in God’s eyes?

Do you want to feel the love God has for you, and realize you can be forgiven for your past? If you do, here is how:

4. Confess and Trust in Him

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.Romans 10:9

If you will say, Jesus I believe you are the Son of God, that you died for me on the cross to pay for my sin and that you rose from the dead, to show there is life after death. I want a new life. I believe God loves me. Here is a prayer you can pray and ask Jesus to give you the gift only He offers:

Dear Jesus, I admit that I am a sinner and do not deserve eternal life. I believe that you are the Son of God, that you died on the cross to offer ME forgiveness of my sin, and I believe that you arose after 3 days, as the bible says, to show me there is life after death. Jesus I ask you to come into my life, forgive me of my sins and give me the gift of eternal life. I turn away from my past ways and surrender my life to you. Reveal to me how to live a life that will be pleasing to God, and to me. Thank you Jesus for this gift you offer me, I freely accept it by faith in you. Amen.

If you prayed this, believing all that you have read to be God’s directions, Romans 10:13 has this to say

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord, shall be saved.

As you called out to Jesus in prayer, confessing your sin, and asking for the gift of eternal life, you utilized the first of many promises of God, that to be saved from death in Hell.

If you prayed to receive Jesus as your Lord and Saviour please start reading God’s word the Bible and see the new life God has for you, the book of John is a good start. Start attending a church that professes the truth about Jesus and preaches it, like Wall Highway! Ask God to show you what all He has for you.

Please let us know (info@wallhighway.com) that you have done this if you would, so we can rejoice that Satan has lost another victim and Heaven has a new resident! Praise the Lord. God Loves You!
