Live Life more Abundantly

Have you ever wondered what the verse means to "Live life more abundantly" in John 10. It literally is referring to a "hilarious" joyful life. It is a life filled without succumbing to all the major stresses we talked about in yesterday's devotional. Abundant living is sort of like do you want a good marriage or do you want a great marriage. A good marriage is good for sure because over 50 % of couples are on the rocks but a great marriage are the ones that most likely Paul Harvey talks about on his radio broadcast that have been married 50, 60 and even 70 years. They have learned they cannot live without each other. Sadly, some people are married and have been married for a long time but are still not living the "abundant" marriage. Abundant living is understanding a few things that the person who just wants to live a good life can't quite understand.

Abundant living people understand:

* Life is short enjoy the moment

* People are going to be people, they aren't perfect , and look in the mirror neither are we

* Circumstances are not going to always go our way

* Learn to laugh at yourself

* Stop finding the toothpick in someone else's eye and take care of that telephone pole in our own

* Be an optimist not a pessimist

* By the way it takes no effort at all in this day in time to be a pessimist as bad as everything is around us

* Being positive we understand God does indeed have a plan for our lives

* Abundant living is where it is at.

* Abundant living understands mostly there are a lot of people not living an abundant life

* Abundant living people understand it will take that joy we have to reach those who are unsatisfied

A friend was telling another friend about enrolling in a weight loss program and how excited they were about the meetings. "Sounds great," the friend said, "I'm almost tempted to join you too." "Well next time I go," she replied ,"I'll take you along".

"Okay," the friend responded, and then she asked, "Do they serve refreshments." Now that is wanting to enjoy living for sure.
