Many people come to a new church, join the church membership, then sit back and soak it all in.   This is a great strategy for a short time, say a week or two, but then it's time to dust off that spiritual gift God has blessed you with to serve and put it into gear!

What spiritual gift you might ask? We all know, hopefully, that God has given each of us at least one spiritual gift, and others more, to be able to serve after our conversion (salvation).   You might say I don't know my gift.  If this is you, go to our resources link and find the url to spiritual gift test and take it.  Send me a copy too!   I want to see how God has gifted you too!

Once you know that gifting it is important that you use it.  Think of it like a muscle.  The more you use it, the stronger it growsr.   I have had some say, that can't be my gift.  What really is the true statement is "I didn't know that, but if God has given that to me, I should use it!".  Its His gift, not our power!  Remember He enables us!

So once you know your gift, its time to begin serving.   Where?  We have need across the board, from the up front take charge, to the behind the scenes 'just tell me what to do'.   We have needs in preschool, children, youth, adult and senior adult, just ask!
